One of the main attractions of
this trek is the majestic view of Mount Everest. Home to cheerful
Sherpa, this trekking area allows you to witness some extraordinary
views of high mountain scenary on earth beyond your imagination.
After flying to Lukla, this unique trek begins with excitement.
Sherpas are famous for helping summitters to climb Mt. Everest and
other high peaks as guides and porters and are very much familiar
with Western Culture. For
those who want more than just great scenery, you can experience
their Buddhist traditions by visiting Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa
capital, and the rebuilt Thyangboche monastery, with relics dating
centuries back. You
seem to feel that you are transported to medieval age. From here it
is possible to see Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and, of course,
Everest - in all its glory. We walk via Khumjung, and Phakding
for more stunning mountain views. Finally we fly back to
Kathmandu from Lukla.
