A splendid countryside trek, passing through several village settlements on its meandering route through the Bumthang countryside. The highlight of this trek is that you get an exceptional opportunity for contact with Bhutanese rural way of life. From Thimpu a scenic drive to Tongsa via Duchula pass ( 3050 m.) giving you fantastic views of the highest peak in Bhutan. Other portion of this trip includes a ride to Bumthang allowing you to linger into the history of Bhutan, visiting historic places such as Jakar Dzong built in the 17th century by the first religious king of Bhutan. The trail ascends gradually towards the Phephe la pass walking through the forests of Junipers and arriving at a pass at an altitude of 3340mts,descending to the Ugeyenchholing village exploring its village and the surroundings, camp by the riverside at the altitude of 2850mts. Finally we retrace our trails with a visit to the scared Bhutanese Lake Member Tso Lake.

Day 02: Tour in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu / Paro, Bhutan.
Day 04: Tour of Paro.
Day 05: Drive to Thimphu.
Day 06-07: Drive to Tongsa and Bumthang.
Day 08: In Bumthang.
Day 09-11: On trek to Jakar.
Day 12: Drive to Tongsa.
Day 13: Drive to Thimphu.
Day 14: Fly Paro/Kathmandu.
Day 16: International Departure.
